Chairman Sean Morrison raises concern regarding Comptroller Mendoza’s actions against the Village of Orland Park (Chicago, IL) – Cook County Republican Party Chairman Sean Morrison responded to Illinois Comptroller Susana Mendoza’s recent actions leveled against the Village of Orland Park which Chairman Morrison called “a deviation from typical practices” by the Comptroller’s office. Chairman Morrison responded in writing to Comptroller Mendoza regarding his concerns that political influence may have played a role in these actions against the Village of Orland Park.

“My concerns regarding this action against Orland Park raised several questions which I highlighted in my letter to our state’s comptroller. It looks as though politics might very well have found its way into this issue,” said Chairman Morrison.

Chairman Morrison is not alone in addressing this matter with the state comptroller. The Illinois Municipal League, the formal voice for Illinois municipalities, also submitted a letter to Comptroller Mendoza following her actions against Orland Park.
