Dixmoor Water Main Repairs to Continue through Holiday Weekend (Dixmoor, IL) — The broken water mains in the Village of Dixmoor are still under repair and repairs will not be completed until next Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest, according to Dixmoor Village President Fitzgerald Roberts.
There were five different water main breaks Monday in Dixmoor and there is still one main left to fix. Dixmoor schools remain open and currently there are no boil water orders in the Village.
“There is water service throughout the entire village,” Roberts said. “We expect to have the last of the repairs done by the first part of next week.”
