Fatal Fire in Unincorporated Lombard Under Investigation (Lombard, IL) – A fire broke out early this morning in an unincorporated area of Lombard, resulting in one confirmed fatality. Emergency responders arrived on scene shortly after the fire was reported, one individual was pronounced dead at the location.
At this time, the cause of the fire is under investigation. There is no indication of any suspicious activity surrounding the incident.
The York Center Fire Department, along with other local agencies, are working diligently to determine the cause and origin of the blaze.
