No Charges Filed in Glenwood Shooting (Glenwood, IL) — In the early hours of February 23, 2025, a tragic incident occurred outside a restaurant in Glenwood, Illinois, resulting in the death of 31-year-old James Honey Jr. (aka Liddle Balling) of Tinley Park.
Reports indicate that a confrontation arose in the establishment’s parking lot at approximately 1:30 a.m. The altercation escalated, culminating in Honey being shot. Emergency responders arrived on the scene, and Honey was pronounced dead at the location.
The Glenwood Police Department, together with the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force, initiated a comprehensive investigation into the fatal shooting. The investigation involved a thorough examination of available evidence, including:
