The winner of this annual STEM competition in the 1st Congressional District and the winners from 324 other congressional districts are invited to Washington, DC, for a reception and a two-day event called House of Code. #challenge

Recipients were chosen based on a variety of criteria, including their academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, participation in school and community activities, work experience, future goals, and financial need.
