These family belongings are donated by descendants of the Hickox-Edwards families in memory of Catharine Officer Saxe Loucks. Passed down through five generations, they offer an exciting glimpse into the social and familial relationships of Lincoln’s Springfield. #lincoln

Three guest curators, Mariela Acuña, Sheridan Tucker Anderson, and Allison Lacher, were invited to explore and bring a fresh perspective to the museum’s nearly 100-year-old collection of Illinois and regional artists. The curators invited Normal-based artist Jason Reblando to exhibit his “Home and Away” series. This project explores the lives of overseas and immigrant Filipino through personal and documentary photographs. #art
