Mayor Keith Pekau extended the gratitude of the entire community and proclaimed Monday, March 21, 2022 as Kendall Coyne Schofield Day in the Village of Orland Park.

The State's Attorney's office seems to be acting more as a public defender's office.

The driver, now identified as Martice Smith, was wearing a Louis Vuitton “satchel bag”  underneath his jacket. Inside the satchel was a loaded Springfield .45 caliber handgun.

As officers arrived, they observed a male, later identified as Tyree D. Johnston, walking through the lot. Upon noticing the officers, Johnston fled the scene in his vehicle at a high rate of speed headed southbound on 94th Ave. #OrlanPark

After taking the purse, Baez fled in a silver colored Volkswagen. #OrlandPark

The victim reported while at Lifetime Fitness, he inadvertently left his car keys on a bench in the men’s locker room. When he returned to retrieve the keys, he discovered both the keys and his vehicle were missing. #OrlandParkPolice

The victim stated that as he walked through the parking lot, he saw a white vehicle moving towards him that was driven by a male who was later identified as Joseph H. McCoy. #Crime
