We have been smart about using our federal pandemic relief dollars to hold the line on spending and create the opportunity to help families during these tough times. We have more work to do, but this is real relief and I know families in the 40th Senate district can use it.
The event is free to all residents, though each car is limited to three boxes of documents. It will last until 1 p.m. or until all shred trucks are full.
The theme of the day was “Rising to the Challenge.” Profound and heartfelt speeches were delivered by the children on each awardee, highlighting the accomplishments and characteristics of the leaders.
The Fourth of July “It’s Not a Game” campaign is made possible by federal traffic safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
