COOK COUNTY, IL — The Cook County COVID-19 Recovery Small Business Assistance Program is offering a financial webinar from 9-10:30 a.m. April 14 to provide small business owners with finance tools as well as insight to the funds available through the American Rescue Plan.

All small business owners in Cook County are invited to attend Survive and Thrive: Preparing Your Business for Funding, which will offer an informational presentation and a panel discussion to help them prepare to apply for financial resources.

The Cook County COVID-19 Recovery Small Business Assistance Program acknowledges that it can be daunting for small business owners to have financial information organized and up-to-date, particularly while managing day-to-day operations in the middle of a pandemic.

This webinar aims to help business owners get financially organized so that they are able to take advantage of resources available to them. It will provide information about three key financial statements that businesses need, managing cash flows, and accounting and cloud software that can help businesses manage their finances and documentation.

The webinar will also feature input from representatives of Chicago TREND and the Women’s Business Development Center. To register for the webinar, visit bit.ly/CookCountyPrepare4Funding.
