Mayors from Chicago Heights, Homewood, and Hammond, Indiana gathered yesterday, July 26, in Homewood to inaugurate the flow of water to Homewood as well as the Village of Flossmoor.

The Housing Fair is a collaborative effort between NHS, R.A.G.E., Teamwork Englewood, St. Bernard Hospital, Growing Home, IMAN, and will be held at Saint John Evangelist Missionary Baptist Church located at 1234 West 63rd Street.

Starting Thursday, July 28 and running through Sunday, July 31, Metra will provide extra trains, expand passenger capacity and adjust schedules on most lines to accommodate the increase in ridership anticipated during the festival.
