ISP Director Brendan F. Kelly provided an update on placement of license plate cameras along nearby interstates to catch criminals involved in shootings. There also was discussion of efforts by local task forces on major crimes and carjacking, support needed for local police and anti-violence programs, and discussion about enforcement, funding and potential legislative solutions in Springfield.

The Bulldogs became the first NJCAA championship winner in school history in any sport. They also earned the distinction as the first team in NJCAA DII history to go undefeated.
The Ten Shared Principles were first created by the Illinois NAACP and the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police in 2018 to improve policing throughout the state and ensure all individuals are treated with dignity and respect by law enforcement.
