Cook County Clerk Monica Gordon Announces Election Certification (Cook County, IL) – The Cook County Clerk’ Office has officially certified the results for the April 1, 2025, Consolidated Election, completing all required post-election processes and ballot tabulation reviews, Clerk Monica Gordon announced today.
Certified township and precinct-level suburban results, including Early Voting and Mail Ballots, have officially been submitted to the Illinois State Board of Elections and are now available online at cookcountyclerk.com/results.
“Our Elections Unit worked tirelessly to provide a smooth, accurate, and transparent election process. We are proud to officially certify these results on behalf of the voters of suburban Cook County,” said Clerk Gordon.
Clerk’s Office Polling Place Technology Receives National Accreditation
In addition to the election certification, Clerk Gordon also announced a major enhancement for election security with the recent certification of the Poll Pad electronic poll book system that is used to check in voters at all polling place locations.
The Poll Pad system underwent a rigorous certification process conducted by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission and recently became the first and only electronic poll book technology to receive this national certification. The equipment was accredited for meeting the highest federal standards for election technology, reinforcing the Clerk’s Office commitment to secure and innovative election practices.
The Poll Pad devices, manufactured by the poll book provider KNOWiNK, use a secure Apple iPad application to provide electronic voter check-in and verification. The secure devices have streamlined the voting experience for voters and election judges alike.
