Sponsorships Available for 2026 Kankakee River Valley Regatta (Kankakee, IL) – The City of Kankakee and the Kankakee Valley Park District are seeking sponsors for the 2026 Kankakee River Valley Regatta, which will return Labor Day Weekend with American Power Boat Association (APBA) National Championship racing on the Kankakee River.
Following the success of last year’s event, the Regatta earned the APBA’s Best Race Site for 2025 award and has been selected to host the APBA National Championships for a second consecutive year, further elevating Kankakee’s profile as a premier destination for powerboat racing.
Local businesses, organizations and community members are invited to support the event through sponsorships, which begin at $150 and extend to the exclusive Winner’s Circle Sponsorship. Sponsors will receive varying levels of recognition and promotional opportunities leading up to and during race weekend.
“The Kankakee River Valley Regatta has become a source of tremendous pride for our community,” Mayor Christopher W. Curtis said. “This event showcases our beautiful river, supports local businesses, and brings visitors to Kankakee.
