Will County Early Voting Begins Sept. 24 for November General Election (Joliet, IL) – Will County voters will have their first opportunity to cast ballots ahead of Election Day beginning Thursday, Sept. 24, for the Nov. 3, 2026 General Election.
Will County Clerk Annette Parker said early voting will initially be available at the Clerk’s Office, located at 302 N. Chicago St. in downtown Joliet. From Sept. 24 through Oct. 23, the office will be open for early voting from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Additional voting opportunities will be added as Election Day approaches. Beginning Oct. 19, voters will be able to cast ballots at 24 satellite early voting locations located throughout Will County.
The Clerk’s Office will also expand its schedule beginning Saturday, Oct. 24, adding weekend and early evening hours to provide voters with additional opportunities to vote before Nov. 3.
“Early Voting provides Will County voters with a convenient and flexible opportunity to cast their ballot before Election Day,” Parker said. “I encourage all eligible voters to make a plan to vote and take advantage of the many options available throughout Will County.”
Parker is encouraging residents to check the locations and operating hours before visiting an early voting site. According to the Clerk’s Office, some hours have been modified following feedback gathered through a survey of the county’s early voting locations.
