Rep. Patrick Sheehan Launches Winter Coat Drive to Support Local Families (Homer Glen, IL) – Illinois State Rep. Patrick Sheehan has kicked off a Winter Coat Drive aimed at helping families in need stay warm as temperatures continue to drop.

“Winter can be especially difficult for families struggling to make ends meet,” Sheehan said in announcing the effort. “This coat drive is a simple way for our community to come together and provide warmth, comfort, and dignity to our neighbors in need.”

Residents are encouraged to donate new or gently used winter clothing, including coats, hats, gloves, and scarves. All donated items will be distributed to local families facing hardship during the cold-weather months.

Donations can be dropped off at Sheehan’s district office at 15746 S. Bell Road in Homer Glen. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Sheehan said he hopes the drive will rally community support and ensure vulnerable residents have the essentials they need to stay warm this season.
