Illinois State Fair Arena Tickets to Go on Sale April 21 (Springfield, IL) – Tickets for a lineup of high-energy events at the Illinois State Fair Arena will go on sale Tuesday, April 21, offering fairgoers a mix of returning favorites and crowd-pleasing entertainment.

The 2026 Illinois State Fair, scheduled for Aug. 13–23 in Springfield, will feature rodeo competitions, truck and tractor pulls, monster truck action and the annual demolition derby. All Arena event tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.

The Arena schedule begins with two nights of rodeo events presented by Wooten Rodeo Company on Aug. 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3–12.

Truck and tractor pulls will follow with three nights of competition from Aug. 17–19, each starting at 7:30 p.m. The events will showcase a variety of classes, including super stock, modified and farm stock vehicles. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3–12.

On Aug. 21, the “Monsters of Destruction” event will bring monster trucks, Tuff Trucks and side-by-side racing to the Arena. A 5:30 p.m. pit party will offer meet-and-greet opportunities and truck rides for an additional fee, with the main event beginning at 7:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under, increasing on the day of the event.

The Arena lineup concludes with the demolition derby on Aug. 22 at 5 p.m., a longstanding fair tradition featuring drivers competing in a test of endurance. Tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.

Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II said the schedule reflects a balance of tradition and excitement.

“This year’s Arena lineup brings together a strong mix of returning favorites and high-impact entertainment that reflects what fairgoers love most,” Costello said.

Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark added that the Arena remains a centerpiece of the fair experience.

“The Arena is where energy and tradition collide,” Clark said. “These events create lasting memories for families and fans year after year.”
