New Democrat Coalition Action Fund endorses Donna Miller for Congress (Springfield, IL) – Democratic congressional candidate Donna Miller has received an endorsement from the New Democrat Coalition Action Fund, joining a group of candidates backed by the organization as part of its latest round of support ahead of the midterm elections.
Miller, who is running in Illinois’ 2nd Congressional District, was one of six candidates included in the newest set of endorsements. According to her campaign, she previously secured 40% of the vote in her race and continues to gain support from Democratic-aligned groups.
“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the New Dem Action Fund,” Miller said in a statement. “Taking back Congress is critical to stopping the current administration’s harmful policies and delivering real results for the American people. Democrats are focused on what matters most—lowering costs, expanding access to health care, and creating good-paying jobs. I’m proud to partner with New Dems to advance policies that grow our economy and ensure every American has the opportunity to thrive.”
The New Democrat Coalition Action Fund said Miller is part of a broader effort to expand its influence in competitive races nationwide. The group has now endorsed 21 candidates for the upcoming midterm elections, including all candidates on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s “Red to Blue” list.
The endorsements are part of ongoing efforts by national Democratic organizations to secure a majority in the U.S. House in November.
