Will County Clerk Launches Online Vital Records Ordering Platform (Joliet, IL) – Will County Clerk Annette Parker has announced the launch of a new online platform that allows residents to order certified copies of vital records through the Will County Clerk’s Office website.
The system, launched earlier this month, replaces an ordering process that had been used for decades. The Clerk’s Office partnered with Fidlar Technologies through its Official Records Online portal to provide residents with a secure way to search for and purchase certified copies of birth, marriage and death records online.
The upgraded platform is designed to make the process more convenient for residents by providing a faster and more user-friendly online experience. The new system also includes improved mobile accessibility, lower service fees and additional delivery options.
Parker said the online vital records system is part of a broader effort to modernize the Clerk’s Office and expand the ways residents can access county services.
“Since becoming Will County Clerk, I have focused on modernizing services, improving technology, and making government more accessible and efficient,” Parker said. “These efforts not only provide better service to the public but also demonstrate my commitment to innovation and the responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources.”
Since taking office, Parker has made modernization a priority through initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, expanding electronic payment options and increasing the availability of online services.
The new platform allows residents to complete the entire vital records ordering process online through willcountyclerk.gov, enabling them to request certified records without having to visit the Clerk’s Office.
The Clerk’s Office said the launch represents another step in its effort to provide more accessible and technology-driven public services while adapting to the changing needs of Will County residents.
