My goal is to ensure every voter knows where and how they can participate in our elections with confidence. These secure drop boxes provide voters with flexibility while maintaining the integrity of the election process,” stated Annette Parker, Will County Clerk.
All drop boxes are emptied on a daily basis by trained election representatives. All ballots are then immediately transported to the Will County Clerk’s Office, where they are scanned and securely placed in our vault until they proceed through the required signature verification process. This secure chain of custody helps ensure the Vote By Mail ballots remain protected from the time they are collected until they are processed.
