Chevrolet of Homewood Launches 11th Annual Christmas Car Giveaway (Homewood, IL) – Chevrolet of Homewood has kicked off its 11th annual “Homewood Chevy Cares” Christmas Car Giveaway, continuing a holiday tradition that has provided a new vehicle to a deserving family or individual for more than a decade.
The dealership, known for its lineup of new Chevy models and certified used vehicles, says the contest reflects its broader commitment to community support.
“For some people, a car can be life-changing,” said Steve Phillipos, president of Chevrolet of Homewood. “We’re hopeful this contest will once again help someone in need, just as it has for the past 10 years.”
Residents are invited to submit essays through Dec. 8 explaining how a new Chevrolet would change their life or the life of someone they know. Entries must be submitted online at HomewoodChevyCares.com.
A panel of judges from the dealership will select five finalists on Dec. 12. From that group, one winner will be chosen and notified on Dec. 19. The recipient will be handed the keys to a brand-new Chevrolet during a Christmas Eve ceremony.
The giveaway event will take place Dec. 24 at 10:30 a.m. at 18033 S. Halsted St. in Homewood. Organizers ask media and spectators to arrive before the ceremony begins.
