Circle Bowling Lanes to Celebrate 85 Years in Forest Park With Charity Fundraiser (Forest Park, IL) – A longtime Forest Park institution is celebrating a major milestone this summer while raising money for several charitable organizations.
Circle Bowling Lanes announced it will host an 85th anniversary celebration on June 7, 2026, featuring retro-themed bowling specials, raffle prizes and community fundraising efforts benefiting local nonprofits.
The family-owned bowling center, which has operated in Forest Park for 85 years, will donate proceeds from portions of the event to Bowlers to Veterans Link (BVL), the West Suburban Special Recreation Association (WSSRA) and the Forest Park Food Pantry.
“We’re excited to commemorate this milestone and give back to the community that has supported us for so many years,” said Denise Stutz, co-owner of Circle Bowling Lanes. “We have a very special day planned on June 7th and we invite the community to come out, enjoy the great sport of bowling, have some food and support some great causes.”
BVL supports recreation therapy programs for veterans through hospitals, clinics and counseling centers. Since 1942, the organization has helped raise more than $59 million for veterans programs nationwide.
WSSRA provides recreational opportunities for children and adults with physical or intellectual disabilities, while the Forest Park Food Pantry assists local families facing food insecurity.
According to organizers, proceeds from raffle baskets, commemorative T-shirt sales and used bowling pin sales will support the three charities. A donation tip jar will also be available during the event.
Among the attractions planned for the anniversary celebration:
- Retro bowling prices of 85 cents per game and 15-cent shoe rentals, limited to one game per person
- Raffle baskets featuring items from local vendors
- Commemorative anniversary T-shirts
- Used bowling pins available for purchase for $1 each
- A “buy a game, get a game free” coupon giveaway for attendees
“We’re always looking for ways to enhance our community involvement,” Stutz said. “This celebration isn’t just about our history; it’s about giving back and making a difference.”
The event will take place June 7 at Circle Bowling Lanes in Forest Park.
