Cook County Veterans Score Free Chicago Wolves Tickets in New Partnership with Clerk’s Office (Cook County, IL) — As the Chicago Wolves take the ice for their October season opener, a newly announced partnership with the Cook County Clerk’s Office is ensuring local service members have a seat in the stands.

Cook County Clerk Monica Gordon announced that her office is teaming up with the AHL franchise to offer Cook County veterans and active-duty military members a free ticket to a regular-season home game for the 2026-27 season.

The initiative is available to all veterans, active-duty personnel, National Guard members, and reservists who are enrolled in—or sign up for—the Clerk’s Military and Veterans Discount Program. Alongside the complimentary ticket, participants are also granted the opportunity to purchase additional tickets at a discounted rate.

“Veterans and military members have made tremendous sacrifices in service to our country, and they deserve more than our thanks,” Clerk Gordon stated. “Partnerships like this allow us to turn that appreciation into something tangible, and I’m pleased that the Chicago Wolves are helping us provide another meaningful benefit to the veterans and service members we serve.”

The ticket offer is valid for regular-season home games at Allstate Arena through Sunday, April 11, 2027. Fans should note that three blackout dates apply: Oct. 27, Dec. 16, and Feb. 18.

Eligible individuals can claim their free ticket and purchase additional discounted seats at www.cookcountyclerk.com/Wolves. The venue utilizes a fully digital ticketing system; no paper tickets will be printed. Attendees must present their tickets on a mobile device for entry. Upon checkout, users will receive two emails: a purchase confirmation and specific instructions on how to access their digital passes.

Service members who are not yet enrolled in the free Military and Veterans Discount Program can apply online at cookcountyclerk.com/veterans, by mail, or in person at the Clerk’s Veterans Affairs Office (118 N. Clark St. in Chicago), which is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Appointments and further information can be secured by calling 312-603-5788.

To successfully apply for the discount card, veterans must provide proof of service, such as a DD-214, a Retired Military Card, or an Illinois Driver’s License or State ID bearing the Veterans Designation.

The public-private discount program, run in collaboration with the Cook County Office of Veterans Affairs, connects veterans with reduced costs on a wide array of everyday necessities and services, spanning food, auto repair, legal assistance, and health and fitness memberships.
