Parker said the Will County Clerk’s Office will open early voting the same day it mails the first batch of vote-by-mail ballots to voters who have submitted completed applications.
Early voting at the clerk’s office, located at 302 N. Chicago St. in downtown Joliet, will be available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Friday, March 6. Beginning Saturday, March 7, voting hours at the clerk’s office will expand to include weekend and early evening hours as Election Day approaches.
In addition to the downtown Joliet site, voters will be able to cast ballots at 23 early voting satellite locations throughout Will County starting March 2.
County officials said early voting hours at some locations were adjusted following input from local township and municipal clerks. The clerk’s office worked with each site to set dates and times based on local requests.
