Officials did not immediately release additional details about the incidents leading to the arrests or the total number of demonstrators present.

The facility, located near 25th Avenue and Roosevelt Road, has been the site of recurring protests by immigrant rights groups and community activists calling for an end to ICE detention operations in Illinois.

Law enforcement agencies said operations at the facility were not disrupted and that public safety measures remain in place as demonstrations continue.
