Mobile DMV Services Coming to Homer Glen State Representative’s Office (Homer Glen, IL) – Homer Glen residents will have access to a range of Illinois Secretary of State services next month when a mobile Driver Services unit visits the district office of State Rep. Patrick Sheehan.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sheehan’s office, 15746 S. Bell Road in Homer Glen.
Representatives from the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office will assist residents with renewing or correcting driver’s licenses, converting standard driver’s licenses to REAL IDs and obtaining or renewing standard or REAL ID cards.
The mobile unit will also provide first-time state IDs and free state IDs for Illinois residents age 65 and older. Residents will also be able to purchase license plate stickers.
Attendees can register as organ and tissue donors and register to vote while applying for a driver’s license or state identification card.
“I’m excited to partner with the Secretary of State’s Office to make DMV services more convenient for our community,” Sheehan said. “Bringing these services to our district office not only makes them easier to access, but also gives residents a chance to meet our team and learn about the many ways we’re here to help.”
