Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce Holds Another Successful Golf Outing (Oak Lawn, IL) – Wednesday, July 9, 2025, the Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce held its annual Golf Outing which is the Chamber’s largest fundraiser. The Chamber extend their thank you to this year’s Major Sponsor, Oak Lawn Bank and Trust. Oak Lawn Bank & Trust has been this event’s Major Sponsor since 2017 and have donated $22,500 in total to the Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce. One hundred thirty-two golfers registered to enjoy the links at Stony Creek Golf Course in Oak Lawn.
The Chamber Golf Outing included Eagle Sponsors Grace Point Place & Oak Lawn Community High School. This year’s Birdie Sponsors were Napleton Ford, Aperion Care & Republic Bank.
The day began with a Fajita Buffet lunch prepared by Stony Creek & networking followed by a shotgun start at 12:00 PM. Lunch was sponsored by Advocate Christ Medical Center, All Clean Services, Culver’s, Homewood/Nuway Disposal, Kelly Nissan, Oak Lawn Toyota, OSF OnCall, Park Lawn & Penny Lane Schools. This year’s Ball Sponsor was Kerlin Walsh Law. New this year, Three20 Media was the Swag Bag Sponsor providing every golfer with a classy drawstring bag. The Cart & Scorecard Sponsor this year was Old National Bank. On the course, golfers were treated to six “watering holes” offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages courtesy of Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn, Nothing Bundt Cakes, A-Guy Heating & Air, Greenwood Chiropractic, OSF OnCall and Bank Financial. After a warm humid day on the course, golfers came back to the clubhouse for cocktails & dinner. Dinner was provided by Hog Wild and sponsored JP Architects, Ltd., Midwest Business Consulting, GMI Mechanical, Webb Chevy and the Village of Oak Lawn. Dessert was generously donated by Nothing Bundt Cakes.
The Chamber received overwhelming support from its members and many Oak Lawn businesses in the form of sponsorships, gift certificates and raffles. 34 Hole Sponsors registered this year which provided a great opportunity to network with each and every golfer. The foursome with the Lowest Gross score included Jack Baker, Fred Perez, Mike McCracken & Anthony Esposito representing the Oak Lawn Bank & Trust/Wintrust winning a round of golf plus gift certificates donated by Paisan’s and was awarded a traveling trophy with their names on it. The foursome with the Highest Gross score included Dr. Lauren May, Dr. Joe McCurdy, Marcus Wargin & Mike Sundquist representing Oak Lawn Community High School winning 4 games of bowling donated by Arena Bowl and was awarded a traveling trophy with a bowling pin stating “Maybe Golf isn’t your Sport!”.
Mark Mrazek & Jen Krejci Coriell won Longest Drive. Village of Oak Lawn William ‘Bud’ Stalker got Closest to the Pin and Rob Dengler won for Longest Putt. Prizes for the on-course golf contests were gift certificates donated by Rockefeller’s & Hashtag 95.
Attendees could enter a raffle to win one of seven great Registration Raffle prizes ~ all donated by Chamber Members and purchase Split the Pot tickets. Registration Raffle donated by the Oak Lawn Chamber, Encore Car Wash, Kenwood Liquors, Pathlights, Children’s of Oak Lawn, Chic & Classy Events, JP Architects, Ltd., Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn, Paisan’s Pizzeria, Hashtag 95 & Rockefeller’s. The Oak Lawn Chamber extends a sincere thank you to all our members who donated items to be raffled off during our outing.
