This historic event will honor the significance of Juneteenth, a federal holiday that recognizes the end of slavery in the U.S. Additionally, this year marks 100 years since Westchester’s incorporation as a village.

The festivities will kick off on June 19 with a Freedom Walk and Flag Ceremony, commemorating liberation and progress. The celebration will continue on June 21 with a community Block Party featuring live performances, local vendors, children’s activities, cultural showcases, and much more.

We have curated a diverse lineup of artists to reflect the essence and cultural legacy of Juneteenth. The entertainment schedule includes:

“This celebration is about honoring history, embracing unity, and celebrating the strength of our community,” said Victoria Vann, Organizer and Westchester Village Trustee. “We welcome all to join us for this meaningful and joyful milestone.”

The Village encourages both residents and visitors to come together for this powerful celebration of freedom, reflection, and community pride.
