Will County Clerk Announces Vote By Mail Applications for November 2026 Election (Joliet, IL) – Will County Clerk Annette Parker announced that applications for Vote By Mail ballots for the Nov. 3, 2026 General Election are now available to eligible Will County voters.

Applications became available Aug. 5 and can be submitted online, by mail or in person through the Will County Clerk’s Office. The deadline for the Clerk’s Office to receive applications submitted by mail or electronically is Thursday, Oct. 29.

Voters can apply or download a printable Vote By Mail application through the Will County Clerk’s website at willcountyclerk.gov.

Voters already enrolled in the Permanent Vote By Mail Program are encouraged to review their information before the election to ensure their ballot will be mailed to the correct address.

The Clerk’s Office advises permanent Vote By Mail voters to confirm that their mailing address is current, since ballots will be sent to the address on file. Voters who need to update their mailing address can contact the office at 815-740-4615.

Voters who are enrolled in the Permanent Vote By Mail Program but no longer wish to participate can also verify their enrollment status and use the online opt-out option.

The earliest date the Will County Clerk’s Office may begin mailing Vote By Mail ballots is Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026.

“Vote By Mail provides a convenient, secure, and accessible option for Will County voters,” Parker said. “I encourage everyone who plans to vote by mail to apply early or verify that their Permanent Vote By Mail information is current. Taking a few minutes now helps ensure your ballot is delivered accurately and on time for the November 3 General Election.”
