Will County Voters Can Now Access Personalized Sample Ballots for November Election (Joliet, IL) — Will County voters can now access personalized sample ballots for November election to review their personalized sample ballots ahead of the Nov. 3, 2026, General Election, giving residents an opportunity to examine the races and candidates they will encounter before heading to the polls.
Will County Clerk Annette Parker announced Sept. 23 that personalized sample ballots are available online through the Will County Clerk’s website. The ballots are designed specifically for individual voters and show the races, candidates and other contests for which each voter is eligible to cast a ballot.

Voters can access the information by visiting willcountyclerk.gov and selecting the “Sample Ballots” quick link. To retrieve a personalized ballot, voters will be asked to enter their first and last name, date of birth and house number. Once accessed, the ballot can be downloaded and saved as a PDF on a computer or mobile device, allowing voters to review the information before Election Day.

The online sample ballot is part of a broader effort by the Clerk’s Office to consolidate election information in one location. In addition to reviewing a personalized ballot, voters can use the county’s election website to request a Vote By Mail ballot, find Vote By Mail Drop Box locations, review Early Voting locations and hours, locate their Election Day polling place and access other election-related information.
The Clerk’s Office has placed “Sample Ballots” and “My Polling Place” among its election quick links, allowing voters to reach some of the most frequently needed election resources directly from the website.
The county also plans to mail a Voter Information Guide to every household with a registered voter. The guide is intended to give residents additional information they can use to prepare for the Nov. 3 election.
According to the Clerk’s Office, the guide will include a sample ballot, information about requesting a Vote By Mail ballot, locations of Vote By Mail Drop Boxes, Early Voting locations and their dates and hours, as well as information about Election Day polling places.
The combination of the personalized online ballot and mailed voter guide gives residents multiple ways to obtain election information. Voters who prefer to prepare digitally can access and save their ballot through the county website, while households receiving the mailed guide will have election information available in a printed format.
