“MAGA Money Miller”: New Website Scrutinizes Donna Miller’s Right-Wing Donors (Chicago, IL) – A new website launched Monday is targeting congressional candidate Donna Miller’s fundraising record, alleging she has accepted significant donations from right-wing donors despite positioning herself as an opponent of former President Donald Trump.
The site, titled “MAGA Money Miller,” focuses on Miller’s campaign for Illinois’ 2nd Congressional District. It is accessible through donnamillerforcongress.com and magamoneymiller.com.
The website claims Miller has accepted nearly $40,000 from donors who have also contributed to Trump, as well as nearly $900,000 from individuals who have given to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), which Gov. JB Pritzker has previously described as a “pro-Trump organization.”
In addition to highlighting campaign contributions, the site criticizes Miller’s record as a Cook County commissioner. It references her support for a county contract reportedly worth more than $1 million with a company that allegedly exposed residents’ personal data. The site also claims Miller accepted donations from lobbyists affiliated with that company and voted in favor of allowing county agencies, including Stroger Hospital, to share records with federal immigration authorities.
State Sen. Robert Peters, who is also running in the 2nd District, said he was behind the effort to publicize the website.
“Donna Miller’s campaign has turned to a who’s who of the worst right-wing actors in our politics to fuel her ambition,” Peters said in a statement. “We posted this website so that every voter in the 2nd District can learn the facts about Donna Miller before they cast their ballot.”
Miller’s campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The 2nd Congressional District race is shaping up to be a closely watched contest, with candidates drawing contrasts over fundraising sources, political alliances, and their records in public office.
