IL Freedom Caucus: Gov. Pritzker’s polices are the source of ‘No Peace’ for working families (Springfield, IL) – Last weekend, Governor JB Pritzker called on citizens to terrorize and disturb the peace of their neighbors at a campaign stop in New Hampshire.
The Illinois Freedom Caucus is issuing the following statement:
“In his speech in New Hampshire, the Governor called for ‘no peace’ for Republicans. This statement is many things, but it is most certainly a clear example of an out of touch billionaire who is ignorant of his own administration’s disturbance of the peace for working families.
Governor Pritzker fails to realize that for working families in Illinois, there is already ‘no peace.’ When they open their mailbox to find their utility and property tax bills continuing to rise, there is no peace. When they are notified the company employing them is leaving Illinois due to high costs, there is no peace. When a parent cannot trust the public education system to educate their children, there is no peace. When violent offenders are let out of jail on JB’s SAFE-T ACT, there is no peace.
Instead of giving Illinois families some relief, Governor Pritzker is trying to take these same policies across the country on his 2028 campaign tour. Make no mistake, there is no peace in Illinois for working families, and it is because of JB Pritzker.”
