Mr. Vasselli brings approximately 25 years of experience to his role as founding partner of Vasselli Law, a provider of municipal, real estate and corporate legal service for governments, businesses and others. Since founding his firm in 2024, he has worked closely with his growing roster of clients, including advising mayors and appointed officials on managing risk and diversifying revenue streams. In the process, he has built a reputation for excellence in land use, labor and employment, and other areas of the law, and for seamlessly serving as an extension of his clients’ operations. A member of the the Illinois State Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association, Mr. Vasselli was recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2012.
Prior to founding Vasselli Law, Mr. Vasselli served approximately two years as a senior partner at Ottosen DiNolfo Hasenbalg & Castaldo Ltd. and for more than 15 years as a senior partner at Del Galdo Law Group LLC. Earlier in his career, he practiced at Maurides Foley Tabangay & Turner LLC and Onesto Meltreger & Associates. He started his career as an assistant Cook County state’s attorney and as a legal assistant and staff attorney at the Illinois Office of Comptroller.
Mr. Vasselli’s academic background includes a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the DePaul University College of Law and a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University in 2000. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and political science from Drake University, where he graduated cum laude in 1996. Currently pursuing a Master of Laws in financial services at the Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology, he attributes his success to having great mentors who have guided him throughout his career.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Vasselli serves as a legal counselor for BVL Boxing Solutions, and he has been honored by the Order of the Sisters of St. Francis. He enjoys spending time with his son. Looking ahead, he aims to become a better father while advancing his law firm beyond its early stages to ensure its continued evolution for the benefit of both the firm and its clients.
