PR: Ja’mal Green to File Million Dollar Lawsuit Against Windcreek Hotel for Stolen Escalade (Chicago, IL) – Former mayoral candidate Ja’Mal Green will be filing a million dollar lawsuit against Windcreek Casino & Hotel after his truck was stolen from the Valet June 26th. The press conference will be at Windcreek Monday morning, time tba. What started as a night out with friends ended with police approaching Green to tell him that someone took his keys from their backroom and stole his truck. A day later, the truck was involved in a high speed chase and totaled. Many items were stolen in the truck including personal information pertaining to Green. Windcreek has admitted liability claiming to know the suspect and have full HD video but no arrests have been made.
Green & his lawyers are filing a million dollar lawsuit against Windcreek for negligent access to personal items, gross security failure, reputational exposure, property loss, out of pocket costs, emotional distress, and the risk they created for Green’s family safety.
