Preston to Host Fish Fry Town Hall for 16th District Residents (Chicago, IL) State Sen. Willie Preston will host a Fish Fry town hall meeting Aug. 21, giving residents of the 16th Senate District an opportunity to discuss community issues and learn about his legislative work.

The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at LEARN Charter Elementary School, 1700 W. 83rd St. in Chicago. The event is open to the public, and registration is not required.

Preston, D-Chicago, said the town hall will provide an opportunity to update constituents on his work during the legislative session while hearing directly from residents about their priorities.

“I am excited to discuss the work I did this year to improve our community and residents’ lives,” Preston said. “This is an opportunity for residents in the Sweet 16th District to let me know how else I can help them, and they can enjoy some tasty seafood at the same time.”

Preston is expected to discuss education, social media and affordability, along with other issues affecting residents of the district.

Residents seeking additional information can contact Preston’s office at 773-912-6255.
