ILHAA Applauds Rep. La Shawn Ford’s Leadership on Hemp and Cannabis (Rushville, IL) — The legislative session ended without any legislative action on hemp regulation, but the Illinois Healthy Alternatives Association (ILHAA) remains committed to working with Rep. La Shawn Ford (D-Chicago) and continuing the negotiations.
“We support Representative Ford’s continued leadership in providing a workable regulatory framework to protect kids and to expand equitable access within both Illinois’ hemp and cannabis industry,” said Justin Ward, President of ILHAA. “We believe that when one of us does better, we all do better.
