Democratic Party of Illinois Launches ‘Organize Illinois 2026’ Campaign Across State (Springfield, IL) – The Democratic Party of Illinois (DPI) officially launched its coordinated campaign effort, Organize Illinois 2026, over the weekend, bringing candidates, elected officials, organizers, and volunteers together for a series of canvassing and voter outreach events across the state.

The campaign kickoff featured appearances by Democratic candidates and elected officials, including U.S. Senate candidate Juliana Stratton, Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul, and Paul Nolley, the Democratic candidate for Illinois’ 16th Congressional District.

According to DPI officials, the initiative is designed to mobilize volunteers, engage voters early, and build support for Democratic candidates at every level of the ballot ahead of the November election.

“This past weekend marked the beginning of Organize Illinois 2026—the Democratic Party of Illinois’ coordinated campaign to win up and down the ballot this year,” DPI Chair Lisa Hernandez said in a statement. “Illinois Democrats rallied, knocked doors, and talked to voters to emphasize that every seat on the ticket counts.”

Hernandez said the party’s strategy centers on beginning voter outreach months before Election Day, arguing that early engagement will help communicate Democratic priorities to voters statewide.

“By canvassing now—starting early—we will ensure that folks across Illinois understand that Democrats are not sitting on our hands while Republicans try to steer us backward,” Hernandez said. “We’re here to fight for an even better Illinois—and we’re here to win in November.”

The coordinated campaign launch included events in multiple communities across Illinois. On Saturday, organizers gathered in Normal and DeKalb alongside Nolley, while Stratton joined volunteers and members of the DuPage County Democratic Party in Carol Stream. On Sunday, Raoul participated in an event in Chicago’s Kenwood neighborhood.

Organize Illinois 2026 is expected to continue voter outreach efforts throughout the election cycle, with Democrats focusing on turnout, volunteer recruitment, and voter engagement in communities across the state.
